Marketing site rebuild — what's coming and why

Welcome to the new home of fledge!

We’ve spent the last few weeks rebuilding our marketing presence from the ground up. While mdBook served us well for pure documentation, fledge has grown into a multi-faceted ecosystem that needs more than just a table of contents.

What’s new?

• The Plugin Registry: A live, searchable registry of the 41 official and community plugins. No more guessing which fledge-plugin-* exists on GitHub.
• Walkthroughs: Real-world examples showing how to use fledge in different environments (Rust, TypeScript, etc.).
• The Blog: A place for release notes, deep-dives into lanes, and announcements.

Why Astro?

We chose Astro for its “zero-JS by default” philosophy and excellent MDX support. The docs themselves are still powered by Markdown under the hood, but they now live in a cohesive, accessible shell that supports everything from keyboard navigation to reduced-motion preferences.

What’s next?

We’re currently working on the v1.5 milestone, which focuses on Lane Composition. You’ll soon be able to import and merge lanes from remote repositories as easily as you install plugins.
